Chinese users perceive ATMs as convenient and modern. However, our research highlighted a pattern of behavior that did not match our expected use of ATMs.
Lynne Coventry has been a consultant on usability and human computer interaction for NCR’s Advanced Technology and Research, Scotland, for six years. In this role, Lynne has managed evaluations of concepts such as contactless and personalized cash machines with customers in Britain, Canada, Singapore, and Australia. Lynne holds a B. Sc. in Computing Science and Psychology, a M. Sc. in Software Engineering and a Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction.
