One way to view diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is through the lens of work that many of us are doing already. With DEI initiatives throughout most corporations, designing for inclusion and accessibility becomes not a new initiative, but a shift in everyday design practices. Heterogeneous organizations outperform homogeneous organizations. Inclusive, accessible design reaches new audiences and new users within existing market segments, and it avoids accessibility violations or tarnishing brand image.
