Amanda Raven is a human factors safety specialist with Alberta Health Services (AHS) in Alberta, Canada. She holds a Master’s of Science in Industrial Engineering (M.S.I.E.) from the University of Washington. The Human Factors team at AHS consists of specialists who contributes to the design of processes and equipment to result in a high-quality, safe healthcare system.
Jason Laberge is the manager of Human Factors with AHS. He has published numerous articles that describe human factors issues in complex industries. His projects focus on how healthcare staff and patients use equipment, tools, and work spaces. He obtained his M.Sc. in Engineering Psychology from the University of Calgary in 2003.
Joanne Ganton is the manager of patient & family centred care for Calgary’s new South Health Campus. Joanne has fifteen years experience consulting to advance patient and family centered care practices with expertise in patient engagement to improve health care experiences. Joanne holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan.
