Sarah J. Swierenga, Ph.D., C.P.E., is director of Michigan State University Usability/Accessibility Research and Consulting. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in the scientific study of users in commercial, military, and academic environments. She is a member of the UPA Voting and Usability Project, and an Invited Expert on the W3C WCAG 2.0 Evaluation Methodology Task Force.
Graham L. Pierce is a user experience researcher at Michigan State University Usability/Accessibility Research and Consulting (UARC) in the Office of University Outreach and Engagement. He conducts and supervises accessibility assessments, usability reviews, grant-funded research, and statistical analysis at UARC, and has an M.A. in Cognitive Psychology.
